Purpose of the Job

The purpose of the job is to write effective, scalable code that drives web applications.

PHP developers tend to work with server-side and backend components of web applications, ensuring that the application works across browsers and devices and successfully integrates with third-party web services.

They also test and troubleshoot web application elements to make sure the system remains usable and accessible once it is launched.

PHP developers tend to work within teams that also include front-end developers, ensuring that system architecture supports user-facing applications.

PHP developers are responsible for both the PHP modules that drive applications and for ensuring that other code elements, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, are valid and consistent.

Key Responsibility Areas: 

Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers

Build efficient, testable and reusable PHP Modules

Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges

Integration of data storage solutions.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks.

Understanding the behaviour of PHP, MVC design patterns

Basic understanding of front-end technologies

Understanding accessibility and security compliance

Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

Strong knowledge about the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.

Work Experience Required: Experience (3-4 Years)

Qualification: Degree or Masters

Good interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and work under pressure
